Relationships Counseling
You don’t have to wait for a relationship to be at breaking point to look for support – be it a relationship in love, friendship, work or parent-child.
Counseling can help you check-in with yourself and each other and to go to places which you avoid.
But even in critical moments of your relationship, when you feel you’re not communicating in a good way, your relationship is in danger, or you just feel constantly sad thinking about it, counseling can support you.
Maybe it’s about giving your relationship another chance? Maybe it’s about going through a breakup and finding a good way to say goodbye? Maybe it’s about arranging new terms as co-parents?
Relationship counseling is about establishing and keeping healthy communication patterns, negotiating difficult emotions, and voicing what you truly feel.

How we work
1
We ourselves are a couple who work together in the psychological and artistic fields. We have created our own method: The A-B Listening Maps Method for Couples Counseling.
2
We work as a “reflecting team”, i.e. as a client you get the perspective of not just one but two therapists. We are an intercultural couple speaking German, English and Spanish.
3
We are non-judgemental, respectful and honest. We meet you where you’re at. We engage both partners in finding new ways to listen to each other. We don’t just see the problems but the strengths each person has.
What’s next
Contact us, Kirstin Burckhardt and Mario Asef, for a free phone call in which you briefly outline your situation and hear more about how we work. Then we’ll schedule our session. Depending on the issue one session might be enough, but sometimes the complexities call for more. You decide how often you’d like to seek our help.
PRICES
Unfortunately, the costs of couples counseling are not covered by health insurance companies. Contact us for individual pricing.
